This Lancia Fulvia 3 was purchased as a full restoration project but unfortunately ended up being stored away in a garage for nearly 19 years. In 2014 the vehicle was brought to Classic & Iconic Cars to carry out any work required to get the vehicle back out onto the roads.
When the vehicle arrived at the workshop a visual inspection was carried out and it was noted various components that required attention:
- Front suspension
- Rear suspension
- Rear ride hide extremely high
- Rear brake valve adjusting rod
- Both front wheels loose on hubs.
- Brake master cylinder
- Exhaust system
- Electrics
- Carburettors
Also carried out was an initial inspection of the engine assembly and unfortunately it was found the engine would not turn by hand, after striping seized pistons in the cylinder bore and inspecting the engine internals further it was clear a full engine rebuild was required. The engine was repaired and now runs perfectly.
After completion of all the work above we are proud to say this Lancia Fulvia has been back on the roads since Autumn 2015.
Please check out the gallery for photos unfortunately we don’t have any photos after engine rebuild.
